Bet on the NBA at Bodog Life
Last year’s NBA Champs, the San Antonio Spurs head into San Fran to take on the Golden State Warriors for some slammin NBA action. The last time these two teams met up in San Fran, the Warriors won 96-84.
The San Antonio Spurs finally have Manu Ginobili back and it showed. In his first game back from injury he scored 23pts and Tony Parker chipped in 26pts to get the win over the L.A. Clippers. Tim Duncan had a huge night on the boards pulling down 17 REB. The Spurs currently have six wins out of their last ten games. The Spurs offense is averaging 97 PPG and they’re currently the 2nd best team at sinking the 3-pointer. On defense they give up a league low 91 PPG and they’re great at preventing the 3-pointer but are slacking at defending from the field. They manage to pull down 23 OREB while on defense they bring down 31 DREB. The top producer for the Spurs is Tony Parker with 20 PPG and 6.5 AST. Manu Ginobili leads in steals and 3-point shooting and Tim Duncan is their main guy for rebounding. The Spurs are currently 6-7 on the road and they sit in 1st place in the Southwest Standings. They are (16-15-1 ATS, 14-18 O/U).
The Golden State Warriors have suffered back to back losses and they’ve got six wins in their last ten games. They recently lost, 104-116 at home, to the N.O. Hornets. Despite 60pts from the field and 6 unanswered points it wasn’t enough to beat the Hornets. The Warriors put up the 2nd most points of any team in the league averaging 108 PPG. Despite being average from the field and the 3-pointer they still manage a truck load of points. They’re the 5th best team for pulling down an average 12 OREB per game. It’s their defense that struggles. They give up a league high 108 PPG and they have troubles defending in the paint. The go to guy for the Warriors is Baron Davis who’s averaging 22 PPG, 8 AST and he leads in steals. The Warriors are currently 8-7 at home and they sit in 3rd place in the Pacific Standings. They are (16-18 ATS, 17-16 O/U).
Bottom Line: The Spurs are finally healthy and when their healthy they’re unstoppable. Tim Duncan might sit out this game with swelling on his knee, but he is expected to play. The Warriors don’t have the defense to challenge the Spurs.
Let’s go Spurs!

LSU -5.5
Bet on the BCS at SBG Global
The top two teams in the national polls meet on Monday in the BCS Title game as #1 Ohio State takes on #2 LSU. The Buckeyes will be facing an LSU defense led by Bronko Nagurski Trophy winner Glenn Dorsey. He leads a defense that gave up 19.6 points per game, 20th in the country in scoring. The Tigers are ranked 3rd in the nation in total defense. They also rank fourth in the nation in turnovers gained and fifth in interceptions with 21. LSU look to be the better team mentally and Ohio just has had too many holes in their in consistent game throughout the season and they have had a bad record versus hte SEC. The Buckeyes are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. the SEC. Should the Tigers falter early; LSU has two quarterbacks, Matt Flynn, who threw for 2,233 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and Ryan Perrilloux, who had 694 yards passing, eight TDs and two interceptions.
Bottom Line: The Tigers are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games on turf. The Tigers are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 non-conference games. The Tigers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Bowl games. The Tigers are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite. The Tigers are 1-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
