The New York Giants will make their way to the Lone Star State to
play the Dallas Cowboys at the Texas Stadium.
The Dallas Cowboys have some new inspiration pumped into the team
with a new coach and new offensive coach. They will have Terrell
Owens at wide receiver but will be without Terry Glenn which may
put a kink in Romo’s passing game. The Cowboys moved Leonard
Davis (366lb) to guard, to help open up holes for running backs
Julius Jones and Marion Barber. This should power a strong running
game. They’ll be returning ten o-line starters that scored
the 3rd most points in the 2006 season. The Cowboys solidified their
defense, but may be weak on their secondary unit. If the Cowboys
want to win this game it will be up to Romo’s arm and a strong
running game.
The New York Giants have a new running back after Tiki Barber left
for the broadcast booth. Brandon Jacobs will be the Giants new running
back. The new 0-coach has opted for more of a power running attack,
which may be a problem against a tough Dallas defense. The Giants
have a powerful receiving corps that can carry the team on its own.
The Giants may have troubles on the run defense with two new outside
blockers, one with no NFL experience. The Cowboys have two talented
running backs that will be tough to stop.
Bottom Line: This will be a close game. The Cowboys
are without one of their best receivers, for the first two games,
which means their running backs will be working overtime. Expect
great things from Terrell Owens in the season opener as he wants
to prove that the Cowboys will be a competitive team this year.
As for the Giants, Eli Manning has to improve after having an average
pass game in 2006. He’s got loads of talent in his wide receivers
and there’s no excuse why he shouldn’t put up big numbers
in the air. Also let’s see how the Giants new running back
will be this year.
This will be a close game but Dallas will pull out a WIN!

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

this fight at SBG Global
Will this be the years for the year for the Cardinals? Perhaps not
but I do like their chances especially this weekend. The Cards have
a young mature QQ that was playing extremely well last year. Matt
Leinart is not as flashy as a Vince Young but he controls the play
more and more experience that Alex Smith who still does not have
a handle running the team. The Cards have a lot of weapons this
year and options unlike the 49ers. Matt Leinart, has an awesome
receiving duo of Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin and running
back Edgerrin James to form potentially one of the most dangerous
offenses in the league while the 49ers will only rely on the run
with Frank Gore. The addition of Darrell Jackson to help out Smith
will not be enough.
Bottom Line: Arizona has won four straight and
cashed three of four against San Francisco. The Cards have failed
to 'cover' their last six in September. San Francisco is making
its first appearance on Monday night since 2003. The 49ers cashed
at a 16-5-1 clip under the Monday spotlight during their glory days,
getting the money in 10 of 13 against division foes. San Francisco
has won and 'covered' five of seven versus Arizona at home. The
favorite is 5-2 in the past seven meetings and the home team 9-5
ATS. Six of the last seven encounters have been on the high side.
The Cards have topped the total in 10 of 12 as road dogs and in
10 of 12 on the highway versus conference foes
Take the Cardinals on the spread and straight up
