The red hot Philadelphia Phillies play game 2 tonight against the
St.Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium. The pitcher for the Philadelphia
Phillies tonight will be Cole Hamels (LP) (14-5, 3.50 ERA). Hamels
is currently 7-3 on the road with an ERA of 3.42 and is 2-0 in his
last 3 starts with an ERA of 3.48. The Phillies are on a hot streak
right now, they’re 8-2 in their last 10 games and they have
an away record of 38-37. The Phillies have won their last 5 games,
all of which were on the road.
Pitching for the St.Louis Cardinals tonight is Todd Wellemeyer (RP)
(0-1, 10.34 ERA). Wellemeyer is a reliever who will get the chance
to start against a hot team. The Cardinals are 1-9 in their last
10 games and they have a home record of 40-35. The Cardinals last
win was in Chicago on the 15th of September, in which they won by
one run. The Cards were close to a comeback late in the final innings
against the Phillies relievers, but close only counts in horseshoes
and hand grenades.
Recent Trends
Phillies are 4-0 in their last 4 games following a win.
Phillies are 5-0 in their last 5 overall.
Phillies are 20-8 in Hamels' last 28 starts.
Cardinals are 1-4 in their last 5 home games.
Cardinals are 3-13 in their last 16 overall.
Bottom Line: The Phillies are burning up the NL East and
are only 2.5 games behind the 1st place NY Mets. They can taste
first place. The Phillies will have their best pitcher on the mound
tonight and they’ll be hoping for a 1.5 game difference between
them and the Mets.
If the Cards keep stinking it up the Phillies will cruse into first
place. Phillies to WIN!

Kenny Florian vs Din Thomas

Din Thomas +130
Bet
this fight at SBG Global
Kenny Florian has been hyped up too much by the UFC. Just look at
his record in mixed marital arts and who he has fought and there
is no way you can tell me he is a favorite against Din Thomas. Din
Thomas is 7x UFC Veteran, 3x WEF Champion , 2x RSF Champion, Veteran
of SHOOTO Japan, Inoki Bom Ba Ye Japan and SuperBrawl Hawaii. Florian
is a reality show contestant. Florian has had trouble with stronger
more powerful strikers and Thomas will put a beating on him in the
stand up game.
Bottom Line: Kenny Florian has great BJJ skills
but Thomas will be able to neutralize his ground game since he trains
at American Top Team with BJJ black belts He is a much more devastating
striker and will impose his will on Florian.
Take the Underdog Thomas in this fight
