The Green Bay Packers are in the Mile High State to take on the Denver Broncos, at Invesco Field, for some Monday Night Football action. The Green Bay Packers are coming off their Bye Week after previously beat the Washington Redskins, 17-14. Against the Redskins tough defense, QB Bret Favre was 19 of 37 for 188 yards, with no TD and 2 INT. It wasn’t Favre’s best game! The Packers have the worst rushing game in the league; they’re last in yards per game and yards per attempt. QB Favre likes to throw the ball; he’s thrown 1.715 yards along with 9 TDs. They may be in trouble going up against Denver’s pass defense which is 2nd best to the Colts. In fact Favre has never thrown a TD in Denver to date. WR Ruvell Martin is questionable tonight and Koren Robinson will likely make his long waited return to the Packers after a troubled off season. WR Donald Driver leads the Packers in receiving yards, with 412 yards, and RB DeShawn Wynn leads his team with 4 TDs. The Packers are 8-11 after their Bye Week.
The Denver Broncos are coming off an impressive win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. QB Jay Cutler moved the ball around nicely against the No.1 ranked defense of the Steelers. Cutler’s performance was a career high in which he threw for 248 yards with 3 TDs for a 75.9% passing rate. The best play of the game was his seven plays, 44 yard drive in the final minute to set up the winning field goal. This will be Cutler’s first game against the Packers and his first MNF appearance. RB Travis Henry might be back in the lineup after suffering bruised ribs against the Steelers, he’s run for 549 yards so far along with 1 TD. The Broncos are ranked 9th in rushing yards and 6th in total yards. Their defense is ranked 1st in passing yards allowed.
Bottom Line: The Packers are going to have to be spot on against the Broncos pass defense. QB Favre’s got to watch his interceptions, which means his 0-Line has to allow Favre time to throw from the pocket. Favre has played the most MNF Games and he’s got a record of 17-15. The Broncos will look to utilize their running game and the Packers will have to put a stop to it.

The Rangers have not scored like many thought them to. Perhaps the biggest surprise in the season's first month has been the Rangers' offensive woes. Adding high-priced free agents Chris Drury and Scott Gomez to a lineup that already included 600-goal scorers Jaromir Jagr and Brendan Shanahan figured to make New York one of the league's most potent teams. Even without the Rangers scoring the Lighting have enough to go over in tonight’s game with Vaclav Prospal and Brad Richards contributing for the Lighting with the total has gone OVER in 5 of Tampa Bay's last 6 games.
Bottom Line: Tampa Bay is third on the power play in the league at 23.7%. so far this year and the Rangers are due to breakout game.
