Tonight’s Monday Night Football match up has the Atlanta Falcons
hosting the N.Y. Giants at the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Falcons
QB situation is still up in the air between Joey Harrington and
Brian Leftwich. Leftwich has injured his ankle so the starting QB
tonight will be Harrington. Harrington is a QB that throws recklessly
around the field; he’s got almost the same amount of touchdowns
as interceptions. The Falcons will have one of the best corner coverers
back tonight, CB DeAngelo Hall, who should be all over the Giants
WR Plaxico Burress. The Falcons have a horrible running game that’s
combined for 1 touchdown. RB W.Dunn has 74 carries for 249YDS with
1 TD and J.Norwood has 35 carries for 147YDS and no TDs. They’re
going to be in tough against the Giants defense tonight. The best
player on the Falcons is WR R.White who has 21REC for 356YDS and
only 1 TD, what’s with that! Their other surprise player is
TE A.Crumpler who has 18REC for 194yds AND 1TD.
The N.Y. Giants are coming off a big win against the N.Y. Jets and
are looking to forge forward in the NE East. The Giants have won
their last 3 games. QB Eli Manning had a bad first half last week
but managed 13 of 25 passes with 1 TD. New rookie CB Aaron Ross
saved the Giants by returning two interceptions for touchdowns to
give them the lead and eventual win. WR Plaxico Burress is Manning’s
main man down the field with 7 TDs but is questionable for tonight’s
game. Other injuries may play a big part in the outcome of this
game. WR S.Smith is out and RB D.Ward is also questionable.
Bottom Line: We all know that the Falcons don’t
have the offense were used to, especially going up against the Giants
defense. When under pressure QB Harrington throws recklessly, so
look for lots of interceptions. The Giants may be without their
usual offense that’s got them three wins in a row.
With this being said, it’s going to be a low scoring
game. Go for the UNDER!

this NHL game at SBG Global
T he Sabres are off to another good start this season. With the
loss of Daniel Briere & Chris Drury to free agency, many wondered
if the Offensive output would struggle. Short answer=YES! However,
the Buffalo defense has chipped in nicely of late with good contributions
from Campbell & Spacek. The Power Play is starting to heat up
as well. On the flip side, the Leafs are allowing close to 5 Goals
a game and don't seem to be able to stop anyone on the defensive
side(except the Islanders). But, the Leafs still bring a formidable
Offense to the table w Sundeen, Antropov & Blake. The matchup
here to watch is the Leafs Forwards vs a stout Sabre Defense.
Botton Line: With that said, it would appear to
many that this game will go way Over the total, but i see a very
competitive-low scoring game at HSBC Arena tonight. The Leafs just
might win this game, but it won't be easy .
My call is for the game to go UNDER 6.5! Final Toronto
3 BUF 2
