The Vancouver Canucks will make their way to the Saddle Dome tonight
to take on the Calgary Flames. The Vancouver Canucks have been struggling
of late, but good news, they won their last road outing to the Colorado
Avalanche, 4-3. The Canucks got goals from Daniel Sedin, Ryan Kesler
and Brendan Morrison. The Nucks defense has been plagued by injuries
and the majority of their defense is made up of Manitoba Moose call
ups. Losing Sami Salo and Kevin Bieksa really hurts the Canucks.
They’re currently letting too many shots hit the net, which
explains Goalie Roberto Luongo’s struggling stats. He’s
currently 5-8 with a 2.93 GAA and a .899 save percentage, not the
same Luo as last year! Offensively the Canucks continue to struggle.
They’re averaging 2.6 goals a game and it seems the best chance
they have of scoring is on the power play. They’re currently
ranked 9th with 20 goals during the power play. They must shoot
more on net if they want to start scoring. The top producer for
the Canucks is Daniel Sedin with 14 points and Marcus Naslund leads
with 39 shots on net. The Nucks are currently 5-2 on the road and
they sit in 4th place in the Northwest Standings.
The Calgary Flames are on serious losing skid. They’ve lost
three in a row and they’ve only scored 1 goal in each of the
three games. Besides their recent losses, their ranked 9th in goals
scored and they average 3 goals a game. Strange! You would think
they could score on the power play, but they are having troubles
doing so. Defensively the Flames are great at not letting shots
get through to their net. Last years’ super star goalie Miikka
Kiprusoff is only 6-6-3 with a 3.15 GAA and a .884 save percentage.
The top producer for the Flames is Jerome Iginla with 22 points
and he also leads his team with 69 shots on net. The Flames are
currently 3rd in the Northwest Standings are they are 4-3-2 at home.
Bottom Line: Even though both teams are struggling
I have to give the upper hand to the Canucks based solely on their
road record. They seem to do much better without the home crowd
pressure.
Let’s go Canucks! Please win!

Rashad Evans vs Michael Bisping
Bisping +210
Bet
this NBA Game at Bodog Life
Michael Bisping has a very poor performance versus an average Matt
Hamill and he is a better fighter than his last showing. Rashad
Evans in my mind does not have the overall skills to beat Bisping
who has more experience and is a better rounded fighter.
Evans is a great wrestler and has vastly improved his stand up
but Bisping has a better ground game and stand up skills. Judging
but each of their last performance one would bet on Evans but Bisping
is a better fighter hands down and will take Evans to the ground
and submit him. This is a great bet to make with the books edging
on their last performances
Bottom Line: Bisping has more experience in MMA
as he has fought in major events like cage rage. Evans might be
a better fighter one day, but not on November 17.
Take Bisping with a good payout at +210
