The Atlanta Falcons will host the Indianapolis Colts, at the Georgia Dome, for a Thanksgiving Day football feast. The Indianapolis Colts have been shaky in their last couple games. They have one win in their last three games and now they’re fighting the injury bug. WR Marvin Harrison is out, WR Dallas Clark is banged up and it’ll be up to WR Reggie Wayne to be Manning’s go to guy. Wayne had 4 catches for 75 YDS against the Chiefs. The Colts squeezed by the K.C. Chiefs last week, 13-10, thanks to a last second field goal by Adam Vinatieri. Against the Chiefs, QB Peyton Manning was 16/32 for 163 YDS with no TDS and 1 INT. That’s not the Manning we’re used to seeing. RB Joseph Addai rushed for the only TD on the day. The Colts offense averages 27pts a game but in their last three games they’ve averaged just 18pts.They have the 3rd best TOT YDS average, 372 YDS and they average 124 YDS on the ground. Defensively the Colts are struggling to stop their opponents running game; they give up about 102 RUSH YDS a game. This game is a must win for the Colts as the Jacksonville Jaguars are closing in on them in the AFC South. The Colts are currently 4-1 on the road and they sit in 1st place in the AFC South. The Colts are (6-4 ATS)
The Atlanta Falcons got trashed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-7, last week. The Falcons still have major QB problems. Last week coach played both QB’S. Joey Harrington was 16/20 for 139 YDS with 1 TD and Brian Leftwich was 15/28 for 106 yds and1 INT. The Falcons got nowhere on the ground last week, the longest run on the day was 7 YDS by Jason Snelling. They are connecting with their receivers but they opt for the short passing game instead of the long ball. Atlanta’s offense puts up an average 14pts a game, 197 PASS YDS and 92 RUSH YDS, if their lucky. The Falcons have one of the best Corner backs in the league. CB DeAngelo Hall can shut down some of the best receivers in the busy, which is why the Falcons have the 8th best pass defense. They’re also horrible at stopping the rush and they give up an average 124 RUSH YDS a game. The Falcons are currently 2-3 at home and the sit in last place in the NFC South. The Falcons are (6-4 ATS)
Bottom Line: The Colts receivers will have to watch out for the Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall. Manning doesn’t have his Pro Bowl receiver, Marvin Harrison in. Still it’s the Colts and Manning. They’ll want to run the ball against Atlanta’s weak defense. The Colts defense will want to put as much pressure on the Falcons QB’s, which usually results in a interception.
The Colts to win!

CBB-Kansas St. -2 Over George Mason-This game will be played in Orlando, Fla as part of the Old Spice Classic. Wildcats come into the season with a new head coach in Frank Martin, after Bob Huggins left to coach his alma mater West Virginia. However, the former coach did not leave the team in ruins. They come in ranked 18th with a great recruiting class led by 6'9 freshman michael beasley averaging30 points per game. Complementing beasley aresenior guards clent stewart and blake young. Wildcats like to push the ball up and down the court. They also like the 3-pt shot as well. This will be a tough matchup against a well coached Mason team. Jim Larranaga has done a great job over the last 5 years, leading his club to multiple NCAA Tourney appearances and a Final Four 3 years ago. The Patriots are led by senior forward will thomas who comes in averaging 17 points & 14 reb per game, and senior gurard/forward folarin campbell averaging 12 points per game.
Bottom Line: Mason is a hall court team who is very deliberate and likes to bang in the paint. However, they lack consistent perimiter shooting having only made three 3-ptrs in first three games of the season. It should be a an interesting contrast of styles tonight in Orlando. However, i'm gonna go with the more ahtletic and better shooting club in Kansas St. They will slowly wear down the Patriots and win this one going away!
FYI-KANSAS ST. IS 12-4 ATS AS A FAVORITE OVER THE LAST 2 SEASONS, AND IS 28-16 ATS WHEN PLAYING AGAINST A TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD OVER THE LAST 3 SEASONS! MASON COMES IN 3-0
Final: Kansas State 79 George Mason 67
