The San Antonio Spurs will host the Utah Jazz tonight, at the AT&T Center, for some NBA action. The Utah Jazz suffered their first loss after winning three in a row. Defensively the Jazz give up 99 PPG and they do well at defending inside the paint. One area of their defense that needs improvement is their defensive rebounding, they give up 29 DRPG. The top producer for the Jazz is Carlos Boozer with 24 PPG and 11 RPG. The Jazz are currently 5-5 on the road and they sit in 1st place in the Northwest Standings. The Jazz are (10-9 ATS, 13-6 O/U).

The San Antonio Spurs have nine wins in their last ten games, with their only loss to the Sacramento Kings, 99-112, on the road. Their most recent win was over the Dallas Mavericks, 97-95 at home. Tim Duncan didn’t play and it was up to his teammates to getter done. Manu Ginobili stepped up and had 37pts on the night, while Tony Parker kicked in 23pts.  The Spurs have an average PPG averaging 101 PPG. Most of their points come from inside the paint and from the 3-point line. They have the most talented lineup off the bench to fill in for their starting five superstars. Tim Duncan leads with 9 RPG and he’s their best shot blocker. The Spurs might be without Parker and Duncan tonight. They are currently a perfect 11-0 at home and they sit in 1st place in the Southwest Standings. The Spurs are (11-7-1 ATS, 10-9 O/U).

Bottom Line:  The Spurs are dominant at home, but the one team that can beat them may just be the Jazz.

With Tim Duncan and Tony Parker probable for today’s game, the Jazz might be able to pull it off. Let’s go Jazz!
