The Warriors now face a must win game #3 tonight at home. SBG
Global reports that the gambling public feels the Warriors
will step up tonight and are laying the points.
Golden State was on a definite high after upsetting Dallas in the
first round but reality has now set in and the Warriors must quickly
gain their composure and get a win. The good news for Golden State
is that the next two games at home. “We're confident now because
we're back in our building, and we're a totally different team there,”
said Al Harrington, “That's what we're hanging our hat on.
We get confident when our fans are behind us, and it just flows
from that.”
Game #3 is sold out and the arena will be full of fans wearing
'We Believe' T-shirts. Emotion will definitely help the Warriors
tonight but they also need to play well. “We played two great
games there,” head coach Don Nelson said. “We could
have won both of them. Yes, we are in trouble. Our hands are full
right now. We're playing a very good team that's playing as well
as they have all year.”
Golden
State is a 6 point favorite with a total of 217 at SBG Global.
The Jazz know this series is not over. “We know the series
is not even close to being over,” Deron Williams said. “We've
got some tough games in Oakland, and hopefully we can still win.
It would do a lot for our confidence, winning one on the road.”
Utah also knows that they easily could have lost one or both games
at home and must play better in Golden State to get a win. “We're
going to continue to try to pound the boards,” Carlos Boozer
said. “We know we have a size advantage, and we're going to
try to exploit that. ... We have to play much better to match their
intensity.”
