SBG Global Opening
Line: Rockets – 10
The Pacers snapped their 11-game losing streak with a 113-90 rout
of the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night. The Pacers are battling
with four teams for the seventh and eighth place in the Eastern
Conference. Indiana will be facing quality teams in the next five
games so they will need to play their best ball of the year. "The
goal has been the same," head coach Rick Carlisle said. "We've
been talking about making the playoffs and getting a win was certainly
part of that equation. We're still right there. The schedule is
difficult but we're going to have to earn our way in." The
gambling public at SBG
Global
feels that the Rockets will earn a win tonight with most early
money going on the Houston laying the points.
Jamaal Tinsley has been leading the way for the Pacers of late.
Tinsley is having one of his best seasons. He is averaging 13.3
points per game and 6.8 assists per game. "I'm getting in good
position to do things," Tinsley said. "In Minnesota, I
was in good position to score points when we needed it. This (Atlanta)
game, everybody came out hitting shots and did it on the defensive
end, got the ball in transition, made other guys get easy shots
and shots were going in so I really didn't need to be aggressive."
The Pacers are wrapping up the Western Conference portion of their
road schedule in Texas against the Rockets tonight and the Spurs
Wednesday.
