NBA-TV
SBG Global Opening Line: Suns – 6.5

Two of the best teams in the NBA meet tonight as the Phoenix Suns host the Houston Rockets. The Suns have the 2nd best home record in the NBA at 25-6 and are trying to complete a perfect home stand before heading on the road. Early money at SBG Global reports the public will be all over the Suns laying the points.

The Suns are coming off a 104-103 home win over New Orleans on Friday.

Phoenix allowed 10 of the last 11 points in the game but held on. Phoenix has defeated Houston in their last five games winning by an average of 16.6 points per game. The Suns have not lost to Houston since a 98-97 defeat on April 9, 2005. Steve Nash is averaging 19.4 points and 10.8 assists in the last five games against the Rockets. He had 21 points and 14 assists in a 100-91 win at Houston in January. The Rockets were not at full strength in that game as both Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady were out with injuries.

The Phoenix Suns are 6.5 favorite with a total of 205.5 at SBG Global sportsbook.

The Rockets have won three straight games overall, with all of the victories coming by double-digits. They have held their last six opponents under 100 points, posting a 4-2 record in that span. The Rockets are coming off a 103-92 win yesterday over Orlando and Yao had 37 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. "Actually it's getting better every day," said Yao. "But my turnovers are still too high and my rebounds are still too low. I don't know how long it will be before I make it all the way back. I don't have experience with this kind of injury, so I don't know how long to say." McGrady had 19 points and 10 assists yesterday.

The Rockets are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Monday games. The Rockets are 7-16 ATS in their last 23 vs. the Pacific. The Rockets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Western Conference. The Rockets are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.

The Suns are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Southwest. The Suns are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite. The Suns are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games as a home favorite. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between the two teams.

The Over is 8-2 in the Rockets last 10 vs. the Pacific. The Under is 4-1 in the Rockets last 5 games playing on no rest. The Under is 6-2 in the Rockets last 8 games as an underdog. The Over is 8-3 in the Rockets last 11 overall.

The Under is 7-1 in the Suns last 8 vs. the Southwest. The Under is 5-1 in Suns last 6 overall. The Under is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings between the two teams but the Over is 8-3-1 in the last 12 meetings in Phoenix.
