Opening Line: Heat -5.5, Total 185.5
The defending NBA Champion Miami Heat face a must win game on Friday
as they host the Chicago Bulls in game #3 of their best of seven
series. Not much has gone right for Miami in this series so far,
but counting the Heat out might be a mistake. Early reports from
SBG
Global confirm that the public is playing Miami at
home laying the points.
Dwyane Wade will be the deciding factor for Miami. If he can get
to full strength then Miami has a chance. If he still is playing
hurt then the Heat are going to lose this series. Game #3 is pivotal
because no team in NBA history has rallied from a 0-3 deficit. "Just
got to play," Heat center Shaquille O'Neal said. "There
isn't anything really to talk about. We know what we've got to do.
We've been talking about it until we're blue in the face. Now we've
just got to go out and do it. It's a simple game. Just go out and
do what you're supposed to do. Do that, and the outcome is usually
favorable."
The
Miami Heat are a 6 point favorite with a total of 185.5 at SBG Global.
The Bulls will try and keep the Heat from gaining momentum on Friday.
"This is what you work for," said Chicago forward P.J.
Brown, "This is what you strive for the whole season. You want
to be in this position. Homecourt advantage means so much. We've
taken care of our business so far. We've done what we're supposed
to do. We'll go down to Miami and we'll see if we can steal one
there."
The Bulls have been dominant on the boards out-rebounding Miami
by 10.5 per game. They have also forced 33 turnovers in this series.
They also know this series is not over. “You can lose four
in a row and it's happened to us before," Bulls guard Ben Gordon
said. "We don't want a repeat of that." Since Wade returned
from his injury, Miami is 2-6. Wade must start to play like an MVP
or this series could be over quickly.
