Two teams battling for the Western Conference playoffs meet tonight in Los Angeles as the Clippers face the Lakers. The Lakers are in seventh place in the West, but have lost six of eight and there are five teams competing for the final three playoff spots. The Clippers are a half-game behind Golden State for eighth place, but they have lost three in a row. They trail the Lakers by 2.5 games.
