Chicago White Sox (27-32) at Philadelphia Phillies (32-31)

Jim Thome returns to Philadelphia for the first time as a member of the Chicago White Sox tonight. This is the first meeting between the teams since a November 2005 trade that sent Thome to the White Sox in exchange for Aaron Rowand as part of a four-player deal.
