New York Mets (7-4) at Philadelphia Phillies (3-8)

The Philadelphia Phillies are off to their worst start in 10 years and have not won two in a row yet this season. They will look to Freddy Garcia who is coming off the disabled list to get a win against the New York Mets tonight.

The problem tonight could again be the weather as it is possible tonight’s game could get rained out. If they can get the game in, the Phillies are counting on Garcia who was obtained in a December trade with the Chicago White Sox. Garcia helped Chicago to its first World Series title in 88 years in 2005, and has won at least 12 games in seven of his eight seasons.

Philadelphia defeated Houston 8-5 on Saturday before Sunday's game was rained out. The Phillies are 3-8 for the first time since 1997, when they finished 68-94. Starting pitching has been the problem for the Phillies with the rotation having an ERA of almost six runs per game.
