The Los Angeles Lakers will try to pull off a very tough task tonight
as they take on the Mavericks in Dallas. Los Angeles beat the Spurs
in San Antonio last night and now will try and complete a rare feat
that almost no team can pull off, winning back to back in Texas
against the Spurs and the Mavericks. SBG

The Dallas Mavericks have the best record in the NBA at 32-8. They
will go for their sixth straight win tonight. Earlier this month,
the Mavericks allowed the Lakers to shoot 54.9 percent from the
field as the Lakers handed the Mavericks a rare loss. Dirk Nowitzki
scored 29 points and had 13 rebounds in the loss at Los Angeles.
He has been great lately averaging 37 points and 11 rebounds his
last three games. He had 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 109-96 win
over Houston on Tuesday. That home win took the Mavs record at home
to 18-3.
